I’m very happy to finally share something I’ve been working on for a long time!
Bow in the Eye – New Nordic Tunes for Fiddle is a brand new tune book featuring 20 original fiddle tunes, some of them also arranged with second parts. These melodies have followed me through concerts, festivals and tours over many years, and this is the first time they are collected in one publication.
The book is suited for fiddle players, musicians, teachers, and anyone interested in Nordic folk music who wants new material to explore. It includes both accessible tunes and some that offer a bit more of a challenge — hopefully providing inspiration for players at different levels.
And with the holiday season approaching, it might also make a nice gift for someone who loves music — or a source of fresh inspiration for yourself.
